Transportation
The suggested airport to fly into is Milan Malpensa Airport (MXP). From there, the best option to get to the venue is by train or rental car.
Landing at Malpensa Airport and not sure how to reach Lake Como? There are two ways to get from Malpensa Airport to Lake Como by train. The first option is to take the Malpensa Express and get off at Saronno, where you can change trains to Como Lago Nord station. The journey takes around 1h 30m. The second option, which takes the same time, involves catching the Malpensa Express to Milano Porta Garibaldi and continuing the rest of your journey on a regional train to Como San Giovanni station.

We have blocked off rooms for (Monday, May 29th – Friday, June 2nd) at the following 2 hotels below.* However, if you choose to stay at any other hotel or AirBnB, please keep in mind that Lake Como is very large and it might be best to stay as close to the wedding venue “Villa Del Balbianello” as possible.
We recommend staying on the west side of Lake Como in the Tremezzo/Lenno area to be close to the venue and other blocked hotels, as private boat rides can be costly to get to the other side.
* Also, on the day of the wedding, transportation to and from the venue will be provided for guests staying at either hotel below.
